Albuquerque Pagan Pride Day 2025
Non-Profit Booth Information
We invite you to join us for the 2025 Albuquerque Pagan Pride Day (ABQPPD)! ABQPPD is one of some 200 Pagan Pride events held worldwide during the harvest season, with the goal of fostering pride in Pagan identity through education, activism, charity and community. This year ABQPPD will be held from 10:00am to 5:00pm on Sunday, September 28th at Bataan Park, just west of Carlisle on Lomas Boulevard.

The main focus of Albuquerque Pagan Pride Day is the Harvest Food Drive—a large part of our community-service efforts. The cost of admission for the public is at least one non-perishable food donation per person (or a small cash donation), which goes to and supports the First Unitarian Church’s Food Pantry here in Albuquerque. Every year, we increase our food donations and typically gather over 1,000 lbs of food for the Food Pantry. ABQPPD usually provide the largest single largest donation of food that the Food Pantry at First Unitarian Church receives all year.

This event has grown to over 200 participants and draws crowds of over 800 people. We also feature community rituals, workshops, an altar contest, a live-performance area, as well as merchant sales and nonprofit information booths. This may be the perfect opportunity for your nonprofit organization to network into the local Pagan community.

Any group either directly involved with Paganism or that is Pagan-friendly is encouraged to participate as a resource for the community. Our committee’s goal is to offer opportunities to local nonprofit groups to have a presence at ABQPPD, at any level. If you would like more information on our event, please check out our website abqpaganpride.com.

We recognize that individual groups have diverse ideas about what information is appropriate to share publicly, so we invite you to share with the public to the extent you feel comfortable. We would also be delighted if you would like to teach a workshop or lead a discussion about some aspect of Paganism or your particular path or organization. We prefer each workshop to be about 45 minutes long, and we are always looking for beginning-type subjects. If your group is not interested in outreach or education, you can still take part by creating a harvest-themed altar or display at your booth. Your altar can be entered in the Altar Contest, voted on by our visitors, with prizes for the favorites!

You may contact Lori Foster, our Nonprofit Coordinator, at Drumlor@aol.com if you have any questions. If you would like to have a booth at ABQPPD, please click below to fill out the Booth Application form no later than August 15, 2025. We look forward to seeing you on September 28th!

Code of Conduct
This year we have implemented an event wide Code of Conduct (CoC). In your application, you will be asked to agree that you and your business agree to uphold the CoC while participating with ABQPPD 2025:
Agree to maintain an environment that is safe, age-appropriate, and consensual: physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Agree to respect boundaries and comfort levels of self and others. Not every person will be completely comfortable at all times, but no one will at any time be required to participate in any given practice that is felt unsuitable by the individual.
Agree to treat each other with respect and compassion. Agree to communicate as clearly, accurately, and honestly as possible, and to listen with respect, courtesy, and a positive attitude to the communication of others.
Agree to abide by city, county, state, and federal laws and regulations, including park regulations and regulations for vendors in public spaces.
Agree not to sell, promote, or display, in your booth or on your person, merchandise, decorations, paraphernalia, or symbols associated with Nazi ideology, racism, white supremacy, homophobia, or transphobia.
Agree to be a positive expression of Paganism and ABQPPD.
ABQPPD 2025 Nonprofit Booth Application
As a nonprofit organization, you are invited to be part of the 2025 Annual Albuquerque Pagan Pride Day. This event is a religious celebration of the wide diversity of beliefs and practices found among contemporary Pagans. For this reason, we ask that all participating nonprofit organizations be quite Pagan friendly, if not specifically Pagan.

We will arrange for a space, free of charge, to your nonprofit. You will need to provide your own 10’ x 10’ sun-shade canopy, No Smoking sign, tables, booth decorations, and chairs for your volunteers, along with items for your altar, should you choose to display one. Canopy legs must be weighed down with 25 lbs each and cannot be staked. An entry “fee” of one non-perishable food item per person (or suitable cash donation) applies to nonprofit booth volunteers, just as it does to the public and merchants.
